You send me

Here's how you can reach me on various platforms or whatever.

Hello friend.

Maybe you know me, maybe I know you. Probably not, but if you want to drop me a message, I’ve come up with a few methods to do so, below, and some notes on these. I have no website form at this time, there isn’t one yet I think is that great. I’m often throwing in or removing different options here, mostly to find ways that are more secure for us all. Now that I've migrated to Ghost I'll see what it has to offer on this.

Social sites

You can send me a message on these social platforms. If you’re worried about anonymity or privacy, then this is not going to be a good method, but if you want ease, and just an introduction, then sure.

  • I’m on Mastodon. You can send me a DM here (not encrypted), or just learn more about my dubious opinions on things.
  • Here’s me on Bluesky, the Twitter replacement for most people who left that hell site. I had stayed on Twitter until the end, but closed the account on the day when Elon rebranded the trash fire he’d made of it into 𝕏.
  • This is me on LinkedIn. Here you can find out what I’m up to work-wise and see if I’m worth talking to.
  • It’s not really social, but it’s public, here’s my Github profile. No, it’s not terribly active. I'm mostly there to lurk, occasionally host something on Github Pages and to be an admin/owner of some other team repositories there. But send me your cool project there if you've got one, would love to check it out.

Emails

Here's an email addy: bother[at]dystopia.report that is on ProtonMail. If you're also a Proton mail user then it's pretty secure. If you aren't on Proton, but roll your own pgp, here's a public key. But you can also just send an email without all the bespoke encryption alchemy.

Other secure channels

I may include some links here later to DM me directly, but I maintain accounts on loads of more secure, encrypted channels:  Signal, Briar,  Wire, and Matrix. Pick one. I can also launch an ephemeral, super anonymous and encrypted session over Tor with Onionshare. Fun times.

More to come. Watch this space.
